After 10 months of use, I have been very pleased with the set of GrillGrates for our covered patio apartment outdoor electric grill that I got free on craigslist. I fitted the GrillGrates to a Sears Kenmore # 141.15283 Dual Purpose stainless steel electric grill, also similar to a Perfect Flame # LE1808CA. The factory porcelain coated cast iron replacement grill is $73 13.25×17 and for me the GrillGrates was a better way to go after researching. The meat has better flavor with the sear marks, tasty meat juices and the drippings in the channels vaporizing for unbelievable flavor. They also help holding the heat in the chamber along using white briquettes. I also have sets ready for the family Christmas gifts. Brad here Douglas- you are onto a big trend that we see- electric grills that get HOT! Most electrics don’t get hot enough and GrillGrates can really make the difference (and keep the lid closed as much as possible for heat retention) You also hit the mark on drippings- that sizzle is the true secret to grilled flavor and usually not possible on Electric Grills. I just go the Weber Electric here at GG HQ and we’re really impressed with the temps we’re seeing… 600F Thanks for being a grrrrrate customer!
