The brush itself works great to get in the grates. The twisted wire connecting the brush to the handle may not be the best attachment, and seems like it will probably bend out of shape over time. The reduced rating is due to the scraper. It is extremely soft metal and bends when used with very minimal force. I’ve had to straighten it several times, and I’ve come to the conclusion the scraper is pretty much useless. That doesn’t make the rest of the tool bad, but don’t plan on doing much scraping. One would be better off using a stiff spatula, putty knife, or one of the many other generic grill brushes that have a built in scraper.
